It features 2 inputs (one front and one in the back), ideal for teaching. It also has dual RCA input for your auxiliary input music player (smartphone, mp3 player, etc.)  It has accompaniment with drums and other instruments so you can practice along to other sounds. It also has MIDI in and out for controlling the onboard sounds or using the accompaniment programs with an outboard synth or sampler.

Built-in filters allow you to focus on different instruments in any song played by an MP3 player or CD player through the auxiliary input. You can even perform "sound on sound" recording to layer loops.

The B-DEC is an ideal amplifier system for beginning bassists who can easily learn to play in time and have fun from day one, and is great for the experienced musician as a songwriting tool or just a fun practice amp that will keep you playing longer and more frequently. There are "Teacher loops" than demonstrate basic musical concepts. Drum beats, guitar and keyboard sounds along with a guide bass track each of which can be muted. Internal synthesizer with MIDI interface allows playback of any MIDI file. Song storage allows those MIDI files to be stored inside the amp. There is a Record function for listening back to what you have played with a critical ear, to help facilitate rapid improvement.
